Teachers often go away for the summer. At the end of the school year in 1988 I decided to travel to Hungary to escape the pressures of teaching high school in New York City, but instead of coming back with photographs and memories, I came back with something different. It was a souvenir at first, a piece of black Hungarian pottery, but it turned out to be so much more. It was a turning point, which changed my direction and resulted in two decades of creativity and design, allowing me to follow my natural instincts. Importing the pottery from Hungary was a bust. It was all black and the vases couldn’t hold water, but I was encouraged to travel to Mexico and put together a more marketable line of decorative home furnishings. I did, and the line I manufactured and designed sold to everyone from Bloomingdales-by-Mail, to Horchow to the Sundance Catalog Company.

After ten years, the business sold and I turned my creativity to the homes themselves instead of merely the accessories within them. I began buying, redesigning, renovating and reselling homes. I designed everything from beach houses and country cabins to traditional and modern homes. Even back in college, people would come by to check out my dorm room, so this was obviously something I was genetically encoded to do.

Today, all facets of my background come together behind MSM Property Development, LLC. We are a full service design company servicing the commercial, hospitality and residential markets. I bring to each project my strong business acumen, a natural ability to see space and a love of color. MSM Property Development, LLC enables you to create a space that is sure to be functional, attractive and a great investment.
